It allows you to make a theme park reservation, and then you can park hop after 2 pm at any of the other Disney World parks. We used a Disney Park Hopper Plus pass for the week and made everything convenient. Plus, the weather is always better in the morning.
Our wait time was about fifteen minutes, but the wait times were much higher later in the day.
If you want to get on all the rides, I recommend getting there right when the park opens! We were able to sprint over to rides that had long lines like Splash Mountain and Space Mountain.
